15 Section 2032

  1. The warrantor satisfies the Commission that the warranted product will function properly only if the article or service so identified is used in connection with the warranted product, and:
  2. The Commission finds that such a waiver is in the public interest.

How do I know if I am getting the right yield from my ink cartridges and why was the yield lower than indicated?
Quoted yields are based on 5% coverage which is typical of most printed documents or memos. However, if you tend to print pages with heavy coverage such as might be the case with large graphic files, your yields will be significantly less than indicated. However, the yields for our compatible products are no different than the yields for our OEM products.

Can I touch the print head on my ink cartridge?
-No!
The print heads should only have contact with the printer.

I installed a new cartridge and it does not seem to be working. Why would that occur?
It is extremely rare for a new cartridge not to work properly. Start by checking to make sure that you removed all tags and protective coverings from the cartridge as indicated in the instructions. Next, do a cleaning, alignment and calibration of the print heads as required by your printer since the installation of a new cartridge may necessitate these steps be completed each time a cartridge is installed. Since the problem may be that ink has moved away from the head and the cartridge simply needs to be placed upright for a few minutes, try reinstalling and running a test page. Your cartridge should work fine at this point but our customer service staff is always available to help you either on the phone or

How long should my cartridges last before I have to use them?
Typically, ink cartridges will last up to three (3) years. However, the shelf life of an ink cartridge will depend on a number of factors such as the atmosphere where it is kept, surrounding heat and humidity as well as whether or not it has been removed from its original packaging. Cartridges should always be kept in their original packaging and at room temperature conditions until ready for use.
